A study to examine if taking drugs such as cannabis, LSD, etc. in a lucid dream (without taking them for real) will cause the dreamer to feel similar or the same effects in the dream (or even after waking) as he would if had taken the drugs while awake (lucid dream drug effects versus wake reality drug effects.) Could brain scans from such an experiment give us any conclusion on how the placebo effect works?
